The Bank of America (BOA) in collaboration with Charities Aid Foundation of America (CAFA) has supported Jabneel impact with an amount of Forty-Five Thousand US Dollars ($45,000) in two tranches towards the implementation of its Hope for Future Project. The Project has as its aim of assisting needy orphans and the productive poor widows to acquire relevant vocational skills for life as well as ensure economic empowerment respectively. Economic empowerment of widows is done through the provision of capacities relevant for business and necessary business capital for widows to enable them provide the basic necessities for their orphan children.
The support from the BOA enrolled 30 youth in skill training activities including dressmaking, hair dressing and makeup artistry as well as provided support grant to 35 productive poor widows with needed capital support to invest in businesses that will yield income to enable them cater for their orphaned children.
